Our Areas of Expertise:
ACL Injury Rehabilitation.
Middle- to late-stage rehabilitation conducted on the field and in the weight room. This program includes vigorous speed, plyometric, change of direction, and conditioning methods designed to return you back to match fitness in BETTER shape than before your injury.
College & Pre-Season Preparation.
This program is designed to prepare you for the extreme physical demands of a college or professional pre-season. The perfect training option for players headed to university for the first time or players coming back home for summer/winter break.
Speed & Agility Development.
You will practice the techniques and intensities necessary for you to apply speed directly to your matches. Improving speed and agility leads to improvements in game fitness as well!

Meet Coach Joe.
Welcome to TKO Athletic Performance!
My name is Joe Geletko, the owner and head coach. I am a nationally-certified strength and conditioning coach with over 12 years of experience training club, collegiate, and professional soccer players. I have also spent significant time working with collegiate and professional track & field athletes, beach volleyball players, and Muay Thai fighters.
I am a former player myself—I played goalkeeper for Azusa Pacific University between 2009-2013, where I earned a degree in Applied Exercise Science. Now, I have dual Master’s Degrees in Coaching & Exercise Sciences and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Soon I will be able to provide cognitive performance and psychotherapy services to all my future clients!
Between 2013-2020, I was the associate director of athletic performance at UCLA, where I trained the women’s soccer team for seven (7) seasons and the men’s soccer team for four (4) seasons. While at UCLA, I developed my expertise and skillset in speed development, ACL rehabilitation, and pre-season fitness preparation.
In my free time I enjoy practicing Muay Thai, studying psychology, and racing my two German Shorthaired Pointers. I live in Oceanside, California but we operate throughout North County San Diego!
